Re: Southern Ontario Meet Suggestion
Just a reminder
-Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village
-Date Planned: Saturday, May 8th likely arriving around 1p.m. no later then 2p.m.
-We will meet just off Hwy#401, Exit #216 at Tim Hortons, 10 Samnah Cres. Ingersoll, N5C 3J7 at 10 a.m. and leave as a convoy at 10:30 a.m. sharp. Times will be finalized closer to the event
After the museum visit, we could then decide to call it a day or proceed to another location. Whatever.
Sounds about right

Re: Southern Ontario Meet Suggestion
Hello Everyone...
Just dropping by to let everyone know that the May 8th Meet is still on. I'll be providing more information as the date nears. I can tell you that I'll be suggesting we all meet at 11a.m. at a pre-determined location (I'm thinking exit 150, Hwy #401 Coffee/Diner/Gas Bar) that will be two hours from our destination. I will be phoning the Museum again to give them a heads up of our arrival which I am suggesting should be 1p.m..
Meeting at 11a.m. will allow folks to fuel up, have an early lunch (if hungry) and gather as a group where we can proceed as a convoy to our location.
Because I'm the organizer, I'll be there rain or shine!...
So the event is on!
If you don't know already...this is where we are going....
Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village
The last time I checked, the following people were interested;
Tonygg (Myself)
Beaner (Bryan)
Gryfan (Nick & Beth)
BlueCoupe (Steve & Daniela)
Onehundred80 (Dave)
Angelospinner (Angelo)
Cydetrak (Sean)
Lorne (Lorne)
Norm (Norm)
SparkieSRT6 (Steve)
Details to come

I don't have my notes in front of me, but recall seeing a Restaurant/GasBar at the exit and noted #150. I'll be posting all the information in due time...

I was in this area yesterday. Just a couple more exits west of Woodstock is the Culloden Road Exit (Ingersol) exit. This is where the GM CAMI Plant is located and as soon as you get off the 401 there is a new Chrysler Dealer, Tim Hortons and a Sunoco right there on the north side. The gas prices at this station and other local stations are always 8-10 cents per litre cheaper than the rest of southern Ontario. There are no other Restaurants there just Tims and cheaper Sunoco 94. Just another option.

Re: Southern Ontario Meet Suggestion
Thanks for that Steve. Is it West or East of Exit #150?
I'm asking because I wanted something closer to our destination and something that would pretty much please everyone. You know what you are getting at a Timmies including selection, the bonus of course is Sunoco....Runnin' 94

Re: Southern Ontario Meet Suggestion
Thanks Steve...I have checked out the location and like your suggestion so I'm going with it. The location will be:
Tim Hortons
10 Samnah Cres
Ingersoll ON, N5C 3J7
Tel: (519) 485-7500
Heck, we have a new Chrysler Dealership, Timmies and Sunoco all at the same location.....works for me!
I'll post times and more detailed information at a later time....

Re: Southern Ontario Meet Suggestion
Hi,
Actually sounds like a lot of fun.
Probably would only make it for the brunch as we live in Lindsay.
The trip down for us would be 5 1/2 hours each way compared to the brunch stop that would take only 2 1/2 hours each way.
I take possession of my 2008 Crossfire Roadster Ltd. tomorrow at 4:00 and can not wait to sit behind the wheel, that's if he lets me drive my car.

no problem............Crossfire Forums, Galleries - CrossfireCommunity.net > Home
Please register and we will give you a grand welcome.
BTW, I live in Port Perry and visit a friend in Lindsay quite often.
My brother works in Lindsay as well.
However, my Xfire is kept in Arizona now so a S. Ont. Xfire get-together
is not possible for me now (at least with my 2004 SSB Coupe).
