I am just thorwing this idea out there, Aug 21 & 22 Moparfest. I have never been to this event or even heard anything about it before but it looks interesting.

Good idea for a GTG!

 

I just heard about this event from a guy this past Sunday. He always goes and said its the "Canadian Carlisle" . Says its the best Mopar show north of the border.
We would all have to meet first then drive into the grounds together as you get parked in order of entry. I think I should be able to make it.

 

Re Mopar Fest Newhamburg. It is a big show. Been there many times. BUT look at the dates it is the same wknd as Woodward. Lorne

We will be attending and I have already booked the Marriott (great group rate!) for Friday/Saturday nights.

 

Woodward is the place to be... I should have remembered Woodward before I started this thread.

i could not resist razzing you about organizing a gtg when there is woodward. do you remember when i responded to a thread that was a year old? that was funny too. you have a good sense of humour. it is nice to see that more of the Southern Ontario Crossfire Owners will be showing up at woodward. see you all there!

$69/night which IMO is a pretty good rate....
I used the link provided in the post which had the Marriott reservation site recognize the booking as a Crossfire group rate...
That weekend is the end of my three week summer vacation with the family and will be a great way to end the holidays.....I also appreciate the short distance from home. I typically make it into the States every summer showing off the '82 Volvo, but this year I'm missing out on the national Volvo meet so this will make up for it!!

Ok, so I can't do Woodward....leaving the next day for a family vacation to NYC and if anything goes wrong (flat tire etc) I'll chance missing my flight and just can't risk it. Therefore, anyone else thats not going to Woodward interested in this show. Cydetrak you still a maybe??

 

I can't make Woodward either. Steve I'd still be up for this if you want.

Due to scheduling issues I'm still sitting on the fence for this one. Theres also one in OSHAWA this Sunday at Durham Chrysler.
