Well I finally purchased a 04 XF, white, 6 sp, and a hard top. It’s in great condition with 27 K. The safety / vehicle inspection went well except for the Center High Mount Stop Light. This stop light is an expensive replacement is there any other alternatives?? The vehicle passed this year’s e-test however it wouldn’t have passed the new regulations expected for 2013. The e-test indicated that a few sensors were not working, i.e O2 sensor and something else. Not sure how this is even possible as it runs great. Only one FOB key was sold with the car and that is an expensive purchase, are there any alternatives?? I am now interested in purchasing 4 OEM rims, can anyone steer me in the right direction (must be in excellent shape). Buying from the USA is a good option however the cost of freight / taxes / tariffs is pricy! This is a great and helpful site as it has saved me a tone of money already. i.e headlight adjustment, oil changes... Have a great Christmas Everyone!!

There is no rocket science in the third brake light, you should be able to just replace the LED's in it and be good to go.

The left hand side of the brake light not working seems to be a common fault.Mine went about a month ago and i managed to seperate the lens by carefully scoring with a knife.There are two led circuit boards inside.I have now fitted led strips inside which i got off ebay for 99p and stuck the lens back together.

Welcome to the forum, there are quite a few owners near you, look up the SOCO thread in the Canada forum. I am down Airport Road from you, come to some of our GTG's in the spring.
Keys are not cheap, Needswings sells them for about $150 US and this place is $160. I have seen them for about $130 but I cannot remember where. Do not buy a used one as it will not work, they have to be programed to match the VIN of your car.

Merry Christmas to you as well. I'm a half hour south west of you (Shelburne Area). 180 mentioned our S.O.C.O. registry.
