Default Aero Blue Crossfires run rampant in Anaheim!

Well, so much for the OC Auto Show as we all hung around in the parking lot talking about cars in general and Crossfires in particular. Oh, we did have lunch too! But the parade of Aero Blue Crossfires rolling in was kind of funny. In the end we did have one Graphite Metallic and one Black car, but everything else was Aero Blue.

It was great to put faces with names and meet a nice bunch of SoCal forum members! We'll have to do this again, and soon. Definitely at Cars & Coffee in Irvine one Saturday morning as far as I'm concerned.

I'll get some more pictures posted later. In case anyone is interested, my car is the blue one.

No way! You took at trip up there Brent? Next time let me know when you cruise up there. By the way a few weeks ago I saw what might have been your car on the 15 heading north at the I-8 overpass. It was in the afternoon, was that you? I was driving my black SRT.

What do you mean no way? The Anaheim meet had been plugged in at least ten different threads!
Besides, you weren't eligible to attend because your SRT wasn't blue. So there. The meet was fun and we'll arrange another one soon. Next time all colors of Crossfires will be allowed so you can come along.

If you saw a blue SRT just north of 8, and especially on the 8W to 15N ramp on a weekend, then that was most likely me. A good way to identify my car is
to see if there is a front license plate installed. It seems I'm the only Crossfire owner in all of CA with the front plate actually mounted on the front bumper. In my defense I drive by a police station going home from work and quite frequently find myself accompanied by many, many motorcycle cops starting their afternoon shifts. There's no way I can get away with not mounting my front plate.

You have your front plate mounted? I am not alone! Is yours a coupe or roadster? What part of Stoplight Diego are you in? I live in the San Carlos section and have a coupe.

Lets see, have owned my SRT6 going on two years, and yet the only time I've seen another privately owned one was in Anaheim yesterday. I would say there is probably at most half a dozen SRT6s in the city and maybe a couple more in the rest of the county. Also wouldn't be surprised if there were only a dozen or so in the LA area.

I think the graphite SRT looked the best.

Great time guys. Very nice meeting you all.

This is Dan Root's emblem - to install all you do is take hammer & chisel...

The GTG was fun. Hope to do it again soon and meet more members.

Stoplight San Diego. I like that. They don't seem to time too many signals around here.

Mine came with the license frame mounted that way from the dealer. I picked up my coupe in June - purchased up in OC. I live in Encinitas. I think I've seen one other SRT-6. I know I've seen a few regular Crossfires. Mine's a weekend driver, so it's not out there all the time.

Yes on the Palm Trees but I'm sure there are quite a bit more Xfires in Fl. than Ca. - One thing we do have that you guys don't... IN-AND-OUT!!

What's so cool about graphite is that it's the same sparkly metallic paint - only in a different shade.

I disagree about the signal timing - they are timed beautifully to turn red when approached.

Mine is a daily driver but my route to work is short so I don't spend much time driving. But I still see a Crossfire every few weeks or so. It's funny that Fri going to work I saw a black roadster, passed a black coupe just outside San Diego on my way to Anaheim, and after I got back to San Diego I stopped at a store on my way home and saw an Alabaster coupe in the parking lot. So in two days I've seen more Crossfires than I normally do in a year.
