Aero Blue Crossfires run rampant in Anaheim!
Well, so much for the OC Auto Show as we all hung around in the parking lot talking about cars in general and Crossfires in particular. Oh, we did have lunch too! But the parade of Aero Blue Crossfires rolling in was kind of funny. In the end we did have one Graphite Metallic and one Black car, but everything else was Aero Blue.
It was great to put faces with names and meet a nice bunch of SoCal forum members! We'll have to do this again, and soon. Definitely at Cars & Coffee in Irvine one Saturday morning as far as I'm concerned.

Besides, you weren't eligible to attend because your SRT wasn't blue. So there. The meet was fun and we'll arrange another one soon. Next time all colors of Crossfires will be allowed so you can come along.
If you saw a blue SRT just north of 8, and especially on the 8W to 15N ramp on a weekend, then that was most likely me. A good way to identify my car is
to see if there is a front license plate installed. It seems I'm the only Crossfire owner in all of CA with the front plate actually mounted on the front bumper.

Lets see, have owned my SRT6 going on two years, and yet the only time I've seen another privately owned one was in Anaheim yesterday. I would say there is probably at most half a dozen SRT6s in the city and maybe a couple more in the rest of the county. Also wouldn't be surprised if there were only a dozen or so in the LA area.
This is Dan Root's emblem - to install all you do is take hammer & chisel...

The GTG was fun. Hope to do it again soon and meet more members.
WOW, you guys got palm trees in So. Cal. LOL I am sure you all had a great time visiting each others amazing Xfires.
I know every time we get together, we have a blast.
PS - We have palm trees in Florida and a few Xfires.

Mine came with the license frame mounted that way from the dealer. I picked up my coupe in June - purchased up in OC. I live in Encinitas. I think I've seen one other SRT-6. I know I've seen a few regular Crossfires. Mine's a weekend driver, so it's not out there all the time.

Mine is a daily driver but my route to work is short so I don't spend much time driving. But I still see a Crossfire every few weeks or so. It's funny that Fri going to work I saw a black roadster, passed a black coupe just outside San Diego on my way to Anaheim, and after I got back to San Diego I stopped at a store on my way home and saw an Alabaster coupe in the parking lot. So in two days I've seen more Crossfires than I normally do in a year.
