Chrysler's SRT Performance Tour
 
Just came across this on Automobile's website. Chrysler is touring the new SRT brand across the country starting next month in MI. Car clubs can petition to have the tour stop by one of their events to show the cars off. Maybe something CICCI would like to do or petition to have them at the fall Tail of Dragon?

you would have to show me that....I was wondering if they were going to bring back the SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and they are....better sells some things....I am thinking of selling the old Tahoe, car trailer, and getting me something new to drive again...2012 would be good timing...and that Jeep is the ticket...thanks for sharing...

You're going to hate me. From the mouth of a Chrysler rep they are hoping for it to have a 4 in front of the price tag.

I've already started looking into buying one. Official pricing for the 2012 SRT8GC should be released later this month. It sounds amazing and has a decent tow rating (they split the pipes as opposed to the center exhaust on the previous gen). They are actually already taking orders for them at the dealer...even without knowing the pricing, I just laughed at the dealer when he said this.

...it helps to have a good friend who is very intertwined in the auto writing community and on good terms with a lot of manufacturing reps.


In all seriousness, this is the first car I would think about selling the SRT6 for.

No, it is a good car to tow the SRT6 around with.....first time you could smoke someone's butt while towing the race car....lol;)


And the 4 is perfect, I was fearing a 5...lol...but a 3 would have been better...

If it has a 4 in front of it, I'm pretty much sold. I'm hoping it comes available in thedark charcoal like you can get on the current GCs.
