Default Lineville, Alabama annual car show

The annual Lineville, AL car show is Nov 3/4 this year.
Saturday is the swap meet day, however many cars show up.
Sunday is the official "show" day, starting at 8 AM.
Lineville is located about 25 miles south of I20 on highway 9 in east central Alabama.
Last year almost 1000 cars were in attendance, but there was a poor Crossfire showing, only maxcichon and I.
This year there may be 6+ Crossfires there and all are welcome to join.
The entrance fee is $20.

Pretty sure Max ( maxcichon ) will show up like last year, and possibly ewaynec from Florence ( he said "Mine is a 2006 roadster, aero blue pearlcoat. I will try to make it. Right now I don't see a reason not to." )
Haven't heard from anyone else ......

It would be best if we all met at my house, then drove over together. That way we could all park together.
If we could leave my house around 8:30 we should have no problem with parking.

My house is on highway 49 north.
Turn off highway 9 on 49 north, pass Perryland Foods on the right, then turn in the next driveway on the right across from the Baptist Church.

Like I said, I'll be there if the little red buggy is fixed.

Well, guys, the trip to Lineville is off for me. I went to see a friend, parked out side his garage door. He went out got in his truck and backed right into the front of my baby blue. He ripped a hole in the bumper cover and broke the grille. I took it to the body shop and it "may" be ready Sat. I think he was as upset as I was.
I'm disappointed but there will be others.

Turned out to be just me with my red roadster and zip439 with his graphite coupe to represent the brand among the approx 1,200 other cars at the show, but I think we got our fair amount of attention.
# 1 comment : "I didn't know Chrysler put a Mercedes engine in the Crossfire"
# 2 comment : "I bet those are expensive"

ALL proceeds of the event went to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, so the $20 show fee, and the $2 entrance fees were well spent.

This was the 25'th anniversary of the event.
