Wonder if it was driven with the exhaust kinked which could have caused it to overheat.

 

Bet your correct with the kinked exhaust causing the over heating problem. Squirrel Crusher

 

A possible candidate for the V8 Conversion.
Some body damage to fix though as well.

hit hard enough in the rear to have totalled it....body may be tweaked...but, still a good candidate for a race car....

 

There may be frame damage, look at the wheels and the clearance around the wheel wells..

 

He should have it listed for $1995. It needs a 1/4 panel(could be fixed), rear bumper(and guarantee damages behind it), exhaust, left rear suspension is shoved forward AND the engine is crap. That's a $8-9k car in perfect condition here in vegas with those miles.

 

Clearly the rear suspention is moved forward , at 1900 this would be a good donor especially for the guys wanting to stock parts for down the road....

 

Already used the insurance money to purchase the red Vet. He is likely willing to practicly give the Crossfire away to someone who showed up with $500 and a flat bed.

 

I know this guy he buys and sells, this was not his car. this car he picked up for 3100 and wants to make money on it ,, it has a clear title ,I did not see it and he could not tell me the extent of the damages, . but he did say the front wheel is flat and the rear bumper was hit hard the car does roll when the tire is pumped up. you really don't know what you would get . the red vet is also for sale he fixed it he did not say what was wrong with it nor did he give me what he wanted for it.

 

My guess is, not his best purchase!

 

I would take my trailer down there and pick it up for 2k . Thats a very good parts car....

 

it would cost about 6 to 8.000 to repair it, that is if you did your own work.,
