NICE but a little bit pricey, I know of one for sale $1000 less than that with a LOT less miles on it. BUT I suppose this one MAY be negotiated down to that price.

Oh great, a guy selling a 20K car that isn't his, who originally listed it fot 15K but then upped it to 20K, and has since dropped the price at least twice in 2 days in 1K increments, wanted to be bought by a guy who isn't an ebay member with a XF forum member as a middleman..... If ever there was a time to post "caviat-emptor" this is it!

First of all buddy it's "Caveat emptor" And I was just looking for someone to get me a phone number so I could talk to the seller on the phone. No need to be rude.

Second, "Buddy" I wasn't being rude, I was being informative to YOU to watch out for you $ and to others who may unintentionally get in trouble with THEIR ebay account. If you want to risk your $ on this type of purchase, go right ahead! Just don't come crying to ebay, paypal, this forum, the FTC, or anyone else including the spell-checker police which you seem to have appointed yourself to. Finally, anyone who helps a non-ebay member make a sale to a person who isn't a member from an auction listed on ebay can be suspended. I know that, other members may not know that and they sometimes get bit in the a$$ for that. You arent an ebay member for whatever reason, join ebay then YOU take all the risks. Buddy!

I have an account...PM me with your info and I will contact the listing agent. He then will forward your info to the seller... Most times, they won't do this to the public. The other guy meant well, but I have purchased items thru a second party. Even my Harley...which was a "caveat emptor" situation. I was able to get the price reduced in person, and not nail the listing agents reputation on ebay...

Your message has been delivered samboslice....good luck....

This goes on all the time...ebay never does anything about it. About the only protection you have is to use PayPal if you purchase from ebay. Even that is risky. I bought the Harley online. Wouldn't do that again for sure. It worked out, but I could have burned the guy who listed the Harley for the guy I bought it from. Nothing like described after a 500 mile drive. Photos were old photos, etc, etc. I don't recommend buying cars on ebay...or bikes, or much of anything of value unless you know the business personally....
