Someone has some explaining to do. Graphite wasn't available in 2006...it was replaced with Machine Gray.

Those are Mandrus wheels. Can't remember the style name. Not horrible. But I'm still doubting the 2006 part.

Milleniums

And from the photos, it looks like the font on the gauge faces is more similar to the 2005 design... 2006 was the newer (current) SRT logo design.

But the posted VIN number decodes to a 2006 .......

I get that, but Graphite paint wasn't available in 2006. If someone posts a photo of the VIN on the door or window, I'll eat my words and this would be an anomaly of a car.

Having owned a Graphite car, I can say with complete confidence that the SRT in this thread is not Machine Grey.

MG is a bluish-grey, Graphite is a warmer grey. I've waxed it many times

Well Guys, here's my 2 cents concerning whether it's a 2006 and a Graphite Gray color.
This SRT6 has been in the VIN database, and originally found as a marketing car used by Chrysler, at various venues.

All of the 2006 SRT6's shipped to the USA For Sale had the 2005 markings/emblems on the trunk lid, seats and dash, for whatever reason all of the other 2006 models outside of the US had the SRT6 emblems on the front fenders above the strakes, embroidered on the seats and dash, with the new emblem graphics (slanted like the SRT 4/8/10).

Based upon the VIN# database I've maintained for the past few years, there is one other known 2006 Graphite SRT6 located in Australia, by a member known as berthier (68971)

This is a rare 2006 SRT6 in Graphite Gray!

Guess you did the explaining.

It is great when there are forums such as this to learn from the informed. So often it is only the loudest that are heard.

Thank you, DTMenace.

I was thinking there was a graphite gray '06 at the Dragon a few years back. It was owned by our original organizer of the Dragon meet. His nickname escapes me right now. It will come to me. But his was claimed to be an '06 as well.

That was before my time but I remember hearing about him. As I recall he got tired of hearing his car did not exist. I get a lot of that with my Dakota.

Silver Fox was who I was thinking of. When he crashed his '05 I am sure he bought an '06 in Graphite.

His replacement was an '06 SSB roadster. The only one I would replace mine with.

Yes correct Silverfox replaced his crashed 2005 SSB SRT Roadster with a 2006 SSB SRT Roadster

Is he still around? I remember he used to be quite active on this forum... Would love to drop him a line about that car, if he ever intends to part with it. Always loved it
