2004 SSB Crossfire Coupe for sale - $6500 (SOLD)
Well many of you here know me well and know I have owned my Crossfire for just short of 11 years now.
I bought it as the second owner on April 15, 2007 with only 17,000 miles on it Over the past 11 years I have thoroughly enjoyed this car and have added several well known mods here but the opportunity has presented itself to replace it with a 6 Speed Roadster being sold by my close friend CarolAnn who I helped find it when she purchased it here on this forum in March 2009. Found my Roadster - Illinois Area Many here have seen my car every year as I have attended many of the national meets around the country each year. Many of the miles I have put on this car are highway miles as the result of those many trips. This car has always been garaged at my house in the winter months and hooked to a battery tender but occasionally driven when the roads were clean during the winters. Current mileage: 110,000 miles Interior: Two Tone Gray Tinted Windows Automatic Trans. MB Engine Cover Needswings Single Air intake Needswings Oil Catch Can Eurocharged Tune Magnaflow Exhaust Sprint Booster HID Headlights New rear tires and fronts still good to go. I have maintained this care meticulously and done all the oil changes at 6000 mile intervals using only fleece filters and Mobil 1 0W40 full synthetic oil. Many service documents have been retained and filed and are available for the buyer to review and keep. Other services have been: Ceramic Dust Free Brakes and Rotors (Front and Rear) Fuel Pump and Filter Crank Position Sensor Brake Fluid Flush Differential Fluid replaced New Spark Plugs (100.000 miles) New Interstate Battery (Jan. 2016) Any interested buyers from out of state can fly into Chicago Ohare or Midway airports and I will personally pick you up in this Crossfire at the airport and will provide accommodations overnite for your stay if needed to assist you with a sale. Hundreds of pics available and many can be seen here in my gallery A most recent pic is this one taken in June last year at the CAA8 Eureka Springs event and a pic of the Engine Compartment (2 of my favorites) as well as an interior pic with 2 autographs from designer "Eric Stoddard" inside the car - Glove Box door and Bulkhead Wall Looking forward to finding the next owner via this add posted here on this forum. https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/cto/6501662298.html The signatures remind me of a Jerry Lee Lewis Thunderbird I was considering. After I thought about it a while, I was pretty sure I did not want a car that had been in the Wild Man's hands what with drinking and smoking and running into Graceland fences and all. The autograph was on the door jam and had been worn off by the time of sale any way. Having ridden with you once, I believe your car has had a much easier life. |

Just the signature of the Crossfire concept car designer and well cared for for by me for nearly 11 years Sure would like to see it go to another owner who cares for it like I have I'm looking forward to my new Crossfire Roadster though to replace it Gary |

SOLD TODAY !!
Not to a forum member but a local man who saw my add on Craigslist Hope he does join the forum and suspect he will. He will be added into my Chicago area Crossfire owners Facebook page too. He absolutely loves the Crossfire but has very little info about them other than being a German built car I explained to him about the incredible group of owners all around the country and told him of many meets we have throughout the year and he seemed very interested. Introducing "Marius" the new owner of the Crossfire I have had nearly 11 years Now I will begin making new memories with my 2005 Aero Blue Roadster - 6 Speed https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...a2f959d7e3.jpg __________________________________________________ ___________ Now onto more fun in my first Roadster ever  https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...d355e90bac.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...ff7aa7e8f2.jpg |
