2005 Crossfire SRT6 Convertible - Parts Car for sale
 

In early February, a lady hit me from behind doing about 40mpg (texting and driving in the rain), My beautiful black STR6 Convertible was totaled along with her Honda Accord. Car is not rebuildable since it has a badly bent frame that would cost ~$12K or more to fix. Most of the car, except for the back end is in great shape with many new parts. The non-replaceable fixed rear wing and convertible truck lid was totally untouched by the accident. I am still trying to determine next steps. I would like to sell the car as is as a parts car if anyone is interested in buying the whole car before I look at parting it out. What a tragic loss of this like new future classic. Car was a one owner that was originally used at Chrysler Motor's Executive Motor pool in Detroit. I have had it since 2008 and it was always covered and garaged in FL. 133K Miles. I also have a number of other
spare parts, including a 2nd supercharger with only 35K miles.

thanks Kevin. Going back to my roots which was 50 years ago. My first car was a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Super. The square 4 door sedan looking one that cost $600 used back in 1969.. At 16, anything square with 4 doors was something your parents drove. But I loved that car and my dads Giulia GT Sprint as well. I now have a 2018 Alfa Giulia Ti in the driveway that came yesterday. How things have changed over the past 50 years. I will really miss the Crossfire SRT6. The Crossfire is one hell of a car. This is a sad day for me. I have had it since 2008. Driving the Alfa will help ease the pain.

Hello all . . . Cindy and I (and our two fur babies Mickie & Minnie) drove up to Pensacola FL (12 hours one way) and picked up Karl's black SRT6 roadster Saturday afternoon . . . We just got back home a few hours ago.

Sorry these photos are a bit blurry . . . not sure why . . .

As much as I hate to see an SRT6 roadster taken off the road and parted out, she got hit just a bit too hard in the rear and cannot be saved. The short story on the parts is that everything except the rear bumper and the right rear taillight appear to be in near perfect condition. Karl obviously loved this car and took excellent care of his baby.

So . . . I WILL be parting her out. I'll be putting a new post up in the Parts / Accessories For Sale category in the coming days. I want to give forum members a 30 day exclusive time window to request the parts they might want before posting anything on Facebook or E-Bay.
