As I am considering only I was thinking around 26k. Not cheap but then again; how many of these cars are there with this low mileage. If I can't get a price in that range I will keep my baby stored.

Well I guess this weekend is a good time to put it on blocks, take out the battery and put a cover on it.

I agree. This car will not be Barrett Jackson fodder for 20 years. By then the only cult following it has will likely be dead.

You have competition. There have been two low milage SRT Roadsters on ebay for the last few weeks. Both at $21K, neither havesold. Sorry to say, but our cars have not held value like that. Given that most of us paid $24K-$28K for the SRT brand new, Barrett show's us that we will need to wait another fire years to hope to get 24K again. Oh, and that is if it still has the stickers on it and hasn't been driven. It is a fine car that is a joy to drive, have fun with it and invest elsewhere. JMO

Thanks for the reply but I will have to pass at that price.....maybe I got the idea looking at other xfires that the price might be somewhat lower. I wish you luck in selling your xfire.

Cheers....Rusty

I bought my Black SRT6 roadster at half price in june 2010. Cost me 25k. Listed at 50k new. KBB at the time was $19k. It is now $22k. His car is as mine was, as new. no regrets. I can always get my money back. Somebody will get a fine very rare Crossfire. Gary

Actually, I gave 25k for mine in '08. I wouldn't take that for her today. But, I'm not selling. Unless there is a rediculous offer out there, and I don't see that happening...probably ever...lol...just don't think they will ever be worth anything to anyone but those who love them....

KBB has been running 10% - 20% high for the last 10 years. With the economy taking a dump, I don't even look at the KBB private seller estimates, I go straight to trade in value. If I pay more then trade in, I know i've paid too much!
In 2007 my SRT Coupe cost $24,600 out the door with 64miles and it came with the 8 year 88K chrysler gold coverage. I paid $14k of my 6 roadster in 2010, it also has chysler gold coverage for another year.
If you want a great looking and fun to drive car, this is it so enjoy it. If you purchased your car for an investment; cover it, keep it stock, put it on blocks in a heated and cooled space, do the maintenance, keep the kids away from it and wait 20 years. You should double your money by then. JMO

I disagree. These aren't Gullwings. They are Chrysler wings.

At best they are mediocre slk320's. That's being generous.

The SRT's may fetch high prices for a Chrysler badge but double? That's almost sticker price.

I was with a guy today, as he purchased an slk32....at a very good price....I think the comparison is right on Franc...mid teens for a 6 year old car...in my case isn't bad...but, for an '03, now is pretty good...I think they are depreciating slowly, talking about the srt's, but just don't see them being the next '69 Z28...I wish, but then again, I once owned a '69 Z28 in 1971, and said the same thing....lol....

They made 1400 Gullwings. 928 Crossfire SRT6 roadsters.. Both cars made and sold as Street racers. The SRT6 out performs the Gullwing on all levels. and the top comes down. Gary

I am one of those Lucky ones to purchase one of the SRT6 on Ebay. It is a 2005 SRT 6 Roadster, SSB color. It was listed for $21,480. I offerd $20,000 and they took it. I also had the Chyrsler Dealer out there do a PPI on it. It passed with flying colors. It has 12,000 miles on it. I love the fact that it has autostick. My boyfriend has a 2005 Limited roadster RED but it is stick. I can't drive stick and wont learn so I went and bought my own.

Now I want to personalize it. My favorite color is CHROME.....love that song Trace....... so the car will be shipped soon to me. I look forward to postings from you all and suggestions, pictures to personalize my SRT 6. First thing I want to get is a wind resistor and lighted sills.

Thanks for your time. Hey girls... Jessica Simpson has an SRT 6
