Default 2006 Silver Coupe - Rare Color Combo

To All
I never saw a Tuxedo interior (vanilla/charcoal) in a Coupe, they were installed in roadsters. Any other coupe owners have this combo in their Coupe?
This is a rare interior color for a coupe. This interior color combo does appear in the Limited Roadsters often.

Wow, I really like it! First time I’ve seen this colour combo, I always thought the tuxedo interior was a roadster only option.

Car looks pretty nice. Nice combo looks like a good deal. I don't usually like the tuxedo but it sure works with grey!!

2006 Brochure confirms that the Tuxedo interior was only available on a Limited Roadster in all available colors except SSB. So for this to be a Coupe equipped with the Tuxedo interior, a previous owner may have done a total interior swap. Quite an undertaking!!

I'm also curious as to what color this car was previously. While the pictures are not completely clear, Silver wasn't available in 2006. And I don't think the car is an SSB version. So it might be a total repaint job somewhere in its past. Would have to get up close, but from afar it looks pretty good!! The CarFax report provided by the dealer in NJ has a line where the car color is noted as Gray. That would have to be Machine Gray in 2006. And who knows what a DMV or Owner considers as Gray.

Car has me curious!

Shouldn't a build sheet tell you it's original colour and interior. How about the dealer window sticker, I have my original which shows everything.

Sometimes, a dealer brochure is wrong. The build sheet OR the window sticker would solve the few questions bantered about, doncha think?

I completely agree. But the likelihood of the original window sticker still being around is pretty rare. Same might be true for the build sheet. If this car is original in its appearance, it would be a rare Crossfire & possibly a car to consider purchasing. What we probably all agree on is this car, whether original or modified in appearance, is a unique-looking Crossfire.

Well guys, this IS a very rare 2006 LHD Crossfire Limited Coupe color for 2006! Based upon the Color chart that was published a few years ago by a member, "Plum Crazy".
The chart indicates only 2 Bright Silver (new color for 2006) were manufactured, 1 for the USA and 1 Internationally (country unknown). This post contains the only Silver one shipped to the USA. I believe these coupes were the only ones manufactured with the Tuxedo interior.
THAT IS A RARE COLOR COMBO!
Someone should jump on this one......

Your comments got me to looking at the Crossfire documents I've collected over the years. If the attached is believable, there were several (total of 10) Bright Silver Crossfires built in 2006 introducing the new color. Only 2 shipped to USA; 1 Coupe w/AutoStick & 1 Roadster w/Manual.

How 'bout that!

Called dealer in New Jersey this morning about the 2006 Crossfire. Turns out this car is no longer available. Hope a Forum member picked it up.

I saw this car a while back and yes it is a unicorn. Ran the VIN to get the Equipment Listing which is a "build sheet" of sorts. . Shows that it was indeed built as a silver car with Vanilla interior...evidently it was ordered as a company car--maybe by Chrysler as it was originally sold to a Michigan location. "Test Vehicle; Company Car; Tracking; Sold Vehicle; Special Scheduling Condition I"

I'll put up some pics of it for the archives here, as the dealer won't leave the ad up forever and someone might want to see this rare car.

I don't think that is what he is referencing. He just posted a few actual pictures because the link previously posted will be inactive soon. I personally talked to dealership in NJ yesterday. I was told that this Crossfire was sold & no longer available.
