Crossfire Electric
Crossfire Electric
I had a great deal of fun converting my 2004 Crossfire to electric. It was a wonderful project for an old man, but I don't need two cars. I use the Crossfire within a range of about 45 miles. The car is in top shape and could be parted out for the $3600 I'm asking for it. There is a video I put together for family and friends that gives the details on the car. So, take a look.
I'm in St Petersburg, FL.

I spent some time with bob and his electric crossfire a few days ago, this car is amazing the workmanship is outstanding, from the outside with the hood and trunk closed Bob's car looks stock. If only we knew the amount of work put into this car to make it look and do the things it does example: the electric motor drives the stock manual transmission ,stock driveshaft and stock rear end, I was blown away with Bob and his ELECTRIC Crossfire. jim

The motor and controller cost more than $3,500 but it has to go.

Re: Crossfire Electric
You keep saying that. So part it out.
No one is going to pay $3500 for a parts car.
Your only hope is that someone will want what has to be a very unique Crossfire. For $3500, I'd see it as a chance to see how much father your idea can be taken.
If I was not renting in a retirement community, I'd actually think about buying it.

Re: Crossfire Electric
Many thanks for the inquiry. I sold the Crossfire about 6 months ago and the current owner is thrilled with it.

Enjoyable video. Thank you for sharing it and congratulations on the sale of a car done right.
Having owned a Crossfire and a CitiCar I especially relate to this project.
I hope you got to enjoy your creation for a time.
