I live out in the country. Leakey, TX 78873. It's about 1 1/2 hrs west of San Antonio. Its why I need to sell it. I can't drive it a lot out here because of low water crossings & caliche roads. When I lived in Houston I drove it all the time. I wanted to keep it forever But out here it's not feasible.

Your Crossfire looks great! I hope you get your price. It's about time the prices start to come up on these fun to drive cars. Everyone needs to raise their price and hold the car until they get it. After all, Chrysler and Mercedes sure raised their prices for key fobs and SKREEM modules, as well as everything else.

Thanks Jim. Mine has a couple of thousand dollars in extras which most don't. I love the car but out here in the country there are too many dirt roads & water crossings. When we lived in Houston we used it all the time. Time for someone else to enjoy it as much as I have.

Hello, I’m curious if your Crossfire is still available. The pictures are great and the upgrades sound interesting. If it is available then where is it?

I'm so sorry I hadn't put down my location or changed my signature since I moved out here.

Well, I’m in East Tennessee, around Knoxville, so that’s quite a drive. 😳🙂

Nontheless, how many miles does it have? Can you send me the VIN for a CarFax report? What have your upgrades done to the horsepower?

If it wasn’t for the fact that I trust members of this forum much more than regular sellers, I’d probably say nevermind. Hehe.

Thanks
- Brian

I have that info at the beginning of the ad. Horsepower change with the upgrades has never been checked. Gas mileage improved though. Getting 2 - 3 mpg more.

Sorry, I’m looking at it on my “smart” phone and I missed some of the text. Let me do a little research and I’ll get back to you soon.

Thanks,

I did buy this car over 11 years ago from another state sight unseen. I have really enjoyed it. It is a real head turner.

Brian,
Several here have traveled across the country to purchase a Crossfire from another member of this forum
Ive been a member here since July 2007 and watch this site daily as a moderator
This particular car looks like a good one being sold by a member that has been here longer than myself
He says he has also had it for 11 years and that's a good thing too
I hope the distance doesn't stand in your way of finding the perfect car but this might just be the one

Valk, Its hard to believe I have been a member this long. This forum has always been a big help & I always appreciated it. I bought my Sprint Booster & Magna Flow exhausts off this forum.

I so appreciate this group of people/friends that enjoy something that I do... I would be so happy to have a Crossfire that was in great shape. I’m extremely interested in this one, as long as I can convince my Honey that it’s a great investment in something that we can both enjoy for years to come.

Living in Knoxville so close to the Tail of the Dragon, tell her that it is an investment in a wonderful community as well as a unique little car.
We meet twice a year there, in the spring and fall at Fontana Village Inn.

I'm in Austin, TX with my 2005 black Crossfire convertible and I love to drive out and spend time in the Leakey area. But I understand about the low water crossings and caliche roads. If you own any property out there, then you're driving a couple of miles on caliche roads until you get to a paved highway!

Beautiful car. Someone will ****** it up from you.

Thank you Keith. I have a live water creek to cross & yes a half mile of caliche road. But then I can drive it on the Twisted Sisters route. But that's only once in awhile. Most of the time it's stuck here at home. I have a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk edition for every day use.

I drove the Crossfire for 4 hours from Katy to our new place here & I wasn't tired at all. It's a great driving car. I love Crossfires & would never sell mine except for not being able to get it out of the neighborhood half the time! :-)

I lived right outside of Katy for about a decade, Houston drivers are nuts...

Did you have a list of the major upgrades that you made? I love manuals, but my wife prefers automatics... the whole happy wife thing.

Thanks,
- Brian

Brian,
I noticed after reading a previous post that you live in Knoxville
You are located less than 1 hour from one of the most enjoyable annual Crossfire events twice a year since 2007
Based in Fontana Dam, North Carolina

This Red Roadster is a beauty and it could be yours and you could join all of us next year in April and/or October for a weekend of incredible driving in small groups in the mountains of North Carolina

Good evening, I sent a message to you with an offer (totally negotiable). When we reach an agreement then I’ll fly as close to you as I can & drive her back home.

As for the get together, I think that would be great. I’ll add it to my calendar!

Thanks,
- Brian
