Default Question re: Condensation on inside of head light covers

Good evening. I just joined and this is my first post. I've done a search but can't find an answer to my question.

My wife's car is an `04 Crossfire. It has less than 9,000 miles on it. It has what appears to be condensation on the upper portion of the plastic headlamp covers. When I wash it, the condensation disappears but comes back. Do any of you have an explanation for this and a fix?

Thanks for the time.

John

PS: I get to drive it when it needs gas, wash, etc.

Check with your dealership Brother. There is a drainage kit that can be installed; I think it's also on a TB from Chrysler so it should not be any money out of pocket. My headlights have the same problem, took it in three months back and was told the kits were on order, still waiting, but I'm also still waiting on my fan recall, so figure that. Some people say the kits don't work, and are recommending a wax be applied on the outside surface of the headlamp case, but I say if the kit doesn’t work, then Chrysler is going to replace my lamp housing. I paid good money for this car and I demand service, it's not a "Duster." hooah

FirebaseD,

Thanks for the quick reply and the welcome. I'll check with the dealership tomorrow.

My daughter and son-in-law have one that is about a year older than my wife's. They don't have the problem.

John
