That would be an incredibly cool mod! My guess is that those of us with the 6-speed will be out of luck though...

Well... yah i think so. i'd rather be able to keep both hands on the wheel and down shift in a turn or be able to upshift as you come out of the turn. pretty neat idea anyway.

Gee...I wonder how the "Pro's" of yester-year ever survived without paddles?
I mean I can see where they would come in handy on say a formula 1 car, where you need to shift about every 1&1/2 seconds. On a street car, I think it's mostly a novelty. But, what ever floats your boat. :)
Personally, I enjoy my 6 speed, and as long as I can still steer with one hand, and shift with the other, I guess I'll stay "old school" on this one. ;)

Sounds like we 6 speeders need a modern version of the Wilson Pre Selector.
