Hello All!
Hello All-
As of Monday I became a Crossfire owner and finally found "The Forum." Good to see that there is a healthy fan base as I do love the car. No real questions at the moment just wanted to say howdy to everyone.
I did seem to misplace my owners manual first thing.
I haven't seen it since I was at the dealer. Im pretty sure I left it there but I don't really think its in their interest to find it.
So if anyone has a link to an online version I would love to hear from you!
Thanks.

Welcome to the best thing about Crossfire ownership...well, aside from being an owner...uh...and driving it. Anyway...you need to get the dealership interested in finding your owners manual. This is a pretty important document. And while and online version may serve in place of none...it is a poor 2nd to the actual book.
As a last resort I've seen a few posted on ebay. They may be from dealer showrooms when new buyers rush off in the desire to start driving right away. Also, you can order a replacement...but I'd get the dealer to give or get one. This forum is a good source of information, but a lot of responses will direct you to the owners manual.
Again, Welcome to the forum.

Hi and congrats to your Crossfire.
Go to your dealer and get the manual. It's very useful and you can avoid comments like "read manual page ..." when asking the forum questions.
If the dealer can't find it anymore, request to order a new one.
Save ride and lots of fun.

OK since nobody else is going to ask, I will. Why do you have a Shih Tzu balanced on top of a jack stand for an avatar? Mechanical problems? Or just time to rotate the...well never mind.
Anyway, welcome aboard.
Anyway, welcome aboard.
Thanks Everyone!
As for the Shih Tzu on the stand avatar... I saw it on the web and thought it was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen. It's a real product, Dont know who makes it but its basically a "Jack Stand" for dog groomers so they don't have to wrestle with "the client".
PS - The AutoTrader ad for my car is still up on the site so if anyone's interested here's the link:

By the way, your new car is a "photo negative" version of ours. How do you like the interior? That was one of the features we decided we had to have, Cedar interior that is, and we get alot of positive comments on it. I think it looks great in the Black Crossfire too. Good Luck with your car...Mike

Nice color combination. I really wanted the cedar interior in a Sapphire Blue coupe. I ended up with Doggie-Rocket Red. I really liked the red once I saw it - enough to buy it. It's hot!
Greenville Chrysler is part of Bonham Chrysler. They have always been good folks to deal with. I wanted to buy from them but the saleswoman just didn't seem interested. Also they only had SRTs when I bought. I hope you had a good experience with them.
I'm also a Dallas owner. I live in NE Dallas near White Rock lake. Maybe the Dallas folks will get together and take a weekend day drive to... oh say... someplace fun like Fate. (East of Dallas off I-30)
I may post an invitation for the D/FW folks to take a drive in the next few weeks. Surely we can come up with a good destination. Seems like they have done this in the past.
Cheers,
Steve

I'm too lazy to go find the links... but have fun and tell us about your car...
Well I'm just one step behind you. I test drove my first crossfire yesterday and am now calling some dealers to narrow down the search. Can I be so bold as to ask how much they reduced the asking price on your car? I'm trying to get a feel for this as I start my talks. Hopefully I will be posting in a few days regarding a purchase. Looking for the car you got hard top most likely an '04. That way the car has features. Seems like most of the '05 models for sale now are stripped.
I got $7,500 off list. Mine was a new 2005 automatic coupe limited with 11 miles. I even got $300 in airfare to fly up and get it.
I have since seen the same car for about $24Gs in Denver.
