cabin air filter

Hi, I read several posts referring to changing the cabin air filter. Has anyone taken it out and used the system without it? Does the A/C system really need it? I have no problem buying a new one and changing it, just wondered if the system can be used without the filter installed. Thanks, Bob

It only comes on the Limited so I guess you don't need it.

Can you put the cabin filter in on the base model? Around my area there is a lot of construction and road work, so the cabin air filter would make me feel a little better.

Do a search and see how to replace the filter. Then see if there is a place for it. I would guess that you can.
