Car Smell In Hot Weather???

very hot in uk (for a change!!!) and noticed car smells of petrol/ plastic/solvent ? strongest in boot... anyone else get this/ know the reason???... thanks, steve

I live in FL where its pretty much hot all year round and I'm not experiencing any problems with smells...

well i live in georgia... its been pretty hot this summer and the only smell i notice is a very faint fresh paint smell. it doesn't smell bad but noticeable.

If you are smelling gas then I'd have it checked out, that would concern me.
As a side note this past weekend I used the Zaino leather cleaner and conditioner and let the car sit for a few hours with the windows up. Nice leather, new car smell.

Hi Steve, I'm in UK - but haven't noticed an odd fumes/smells in the hot weather, and mine was out uncovered all day yesterday.
