wow. crossfire is approaching the 138 july viper sales.
it covers all the program cars. and all the cars purchased by rental car companies. anything that can be booked as a sale - even the cars that are given away as promotions are probably counted in sales.

I guess i'm one of the few that purchased last month (not a bad thing, but DCX probably wouldn't agree). Chrysler's overall sales were down quite a bit in July. My xfr isn't a program car, but i still got a sweet deal on a remarkable car. The only disappointment so far has been the 240W sound system...Pelked1' cap mod took care of 80% of the problem... I still would like to hear more bass from the subs at lower volume... below 30... other than that I need to do something to spruce up the grille and I'm considering SRT SIX's mod in body color.

another sales issue if they don't show mercy to current crossfire owners and stop production will occur during the summer and fall of '07. in late winter through summer of '04 chrysler pushed the $299/month lease program on crossfires. this corresponded with some of the crossfire's best selling months ever (1,300 - 1,500 units a month in the U.S.). at that time around half (maybe more) of crossfire sales were leases. the majority of those cars will end up back on the lots and it will be like deja vu all over again.
be expecting at least one sale this november/december. i think i'm finally gonna be financially stable enough to purchase a car that i really want, instead of going with what i could afford at the time. at first i was look at rx8's, crossfires, sti's, 350z's. but i just don't think any of those other cars have the same appeal as a crossfire to my eyes. btw i guess this is my saying HI.
