What to do about getting aftermarket wheels?
I know this is a common question with Crossfire owners, but what's the low down on getting aftermarket wheels. I've owned my Crossfire for under a
year and new member to the forum. I've spoke with many tire and wheel companies and I get mixed info with some not wanting to give me any at all. Looking at many of your pictures I see alot with aftermarket rims. My goal is to keep it 18's in front and 19's in rear ( so I don't have to buy new tires). I'd also like to lower it slightly. Any information so I do this right and not damage my vehicle would be great. Thank you!!! ;) |

Seen these wheels on a Z4 and they look awesome. I've also seen them in chrome on a 350Z. If I were to go aftermarket these are them for me. http://www.tsw.com/profile_mondello.php. The pictures don't do them justice.

Re: What to do about getting aftermarket wheels?
I have to get all weather (more wet/snow) performance tires for a road trip in December.
It was recommended that I get Goodyear Eagle F1 D3 as they had been tested against a bunch of others including the PS2 and came in first. Plus they look cool with that tread design... IMHO. :p From the same site I found some very nice TSW Nogaro Silver Wheels. I really like the look of them, so that's probably what I'll be getting. FYI - I've already mentioned to BigWheels that their tire match information for the rears is incorrect (i.e. - the 255/35ZR19 XL tires will fit). I will stick with the factory stagger setup as I personally think it gives the car a nice subtle rake. Good luck with your wheel selection folks! :D |
