Default New Owner!

What are the first few mods I should do to my white crossfire... Is there any good websites that sell mods such as clear corners etc...

Thanks, I pick her up from the dealership Friday.

PLEASE LIST WEBSITES THAT SELL MOD'S FOR OUR CROSSFIRE'S... FOR EXAMPLE CLEAR CORNERS!

Hi and welcome. There are a few places for mod parts but not many. Do some looking around and a search or two on the forum you will find a lot of info. Check out the "Chrome parts" post and do a search on "CTD". You are going to LOVE your new Crossfire. Have fun.

Yes you will.

The first question comes up... engine or body.

If you are interested in body work check out...
CTD-Germany.com
Vmaxx.de
or AutoXclusive at ebay they don't have a site yet.

If your interested in engine work check out...
any benz tuner
Renntech
Startech (Brabus)
Kleeman
or Evosport

There are few aftermarket options for the crossfire so a lot of your engine tuners will list the car as the SLK320 (r170) as it uses the same engine almost all the mods for it will work for the crossfire...

As for body work... there are few choices other than the ones I mentioned...

Also do not forget the chrysler replacement emblems provided by Andrew and Dan Root.

Hi, welcome to the forum!
You can learn a lot here.
Just remember to share what you learn.
I have the clear markers from CTD-Germany they are pricey but very good quality and look great.

Congrats on the new Xfire, and welcome to the forum. You will find some very helpful advice here, and some commentary to humor you. You will love this car. Go through the mod threads in this forum, and before you know it, you will understand the mods available for this car. As for me the one I really enjoy from a performance stand point, is the Sprint Booster, and from a "LOOK' standpoint, some of the chrome parts available from CTD. There is a recent group buy for chrome parts from a US distributor that’s still going on. Follow the "Chrome Parts" thread for more information.

I picked up a Crossfire a few months ago, first mod I got was the Sprint Booster. Can't go wrong with that one.

The sprintbooster is the best mod going, bar none. You must have this thing. It really wakes this car up. Much more responsive. I almost sold my car before, but now that I have it, I wouldn't think of selling it. It is really like night and day.

A nice inexpensive grill upgrade can be found here.

My car is black so the black paint really worked well. I think it would also look good on the white as well. Some others wound up painting the grill body color and that looked good as well.
