Did I buy a decent Radar/Laser Detector?
Did I buy a decent Radar/Laser Detector?
Paid $85 for Sensoro "silver bullet" RX7500M detector. The MSRP is $149.95 - $179.95

I haven't purchased a detector since the mid 80's and that was a Cobra brand before the Lasers hit the scene.

Cool detector. Saved me (and others) a few tickets on my little 1,200 mile Xmas road trip.
It has one feature I'm finding annoying...
When using batteries and there has been no signal activity for 40 min, the unit will beep and warn you it is going to shut down to conserve energy. Well it ALWAYS seems to do this when I'm making some kind of hasty maneuver... which gets me hitting the brakes and getting tense very quickly.
