Default whining noise from wheels brakes???

When I am driving I hear a whining type of noise coming from front drivers side... it goes away when I tap the brakes then starts again when I release brakes. It's pretty much continuous at all speeds. Any ideas on what it could be???

This is a pretty simple reply, but have you checked the brake pads? Whining sound might be the wear indicator. If they're still good, maybe they need to be reseated and the brake grease applied to the shoe and caliper.

I also get a squeaking noise too, but not a whining sound. I think it's caused by all the brake dust that is given off by the OEM pads, or it could be glazing of the rotors...
