OK - I am going insane here!

My '05 Limited just had an oil change - 600 miles before it was due (I live a few hundred miles from the dealer). They did not reset the oil maintenance indicator - I pulled up on a thread how it should be done and tried it a dozen or so times to no avail. Am I really that challenged or is the problem that it can't be reset until it actually counts down?

Help?

 

It took me about 8 times to reset it. Keep trying I guess... The procedure said switch on / off within so many seconds... I just waited for those many seconds the time it actually worked.

Just keep trying its all in the touch and timing...took me about 8 tries also.

 

OK - so the plan is to get home, pour a tumbler full of Merlot and keep pressing the button until my hair falls out!

 

Michelle - don't know what you read on the forum but there is also a how to in your owner's manual. Patience, you'll get it, they did the same thing to me first time around.
