Crossfire Blues
Crossfire Blues
I don't really know if this post has a point or not...
So, after getting 2 major speeding tickets, the husband had me trade the crossfire for a honda and I am going through MAJOR withdrawals. I mean... I really, really miss that car. So, I told him it's not working and have started my search for another one. 'Cept this time, I'm going SRT.
The craziest thing I've come across while looking for an SRT is that a lot of the cars I'm finding online listed as SRTs are not SRTs... So tempted to email those people and let them know.

Re: Crossfire Blues
I own 2 SRT6's and have had only one ticket, but he was waiting for me as I had been really bad (150 mph) - had to stop and pay a toll. Best $.50 I ever spent.
Now, get the Passport radar detector with GPS - a very wise investment that has kept me out of trouble everywhere I go, including the Tail of the Dragon. And, good luck on finding the SRT6, you will love it.
If you feel you need to slow down, I have found that racing at a track has slowed me down on the streets and made me a better and safer driver (I didn't say I was a really slow driver.) Consider taking High Performance Driver's Ed with your local Porsche Car Club and enjoy the speed, excitement and rectal pucker all at the same time.

Re: Crossfire Blues
Good advice Jane, I like your spirit!
Same experience for me. Take to track days. It relieves the need to go fast on the road. It is fun to treat the car (and yourself) to an opportunity to drive like it was designed to.
