the black box question

Default the black box question

OK.. The black box in my 05 crossfire is loose.. Would that cause CEL light and other issues ?

Where is this black box located? Is it bigger than a shoe box ?

You mean the entire box by the battery with the removable lid containing the PTCM, BCM and RCM boards ?
Never even heard of that coming loose, that's a first. I am not even sure how it is secured.
Disconnect the negative battery lead, then remove all 3 boards and see if you can then see where the problem is.

YES!!! that box it has a bolt next to a senor and all i did was turn my car off and on and it reset it *dont ask lol*

that was my question that box being loose would cause CEL and other problems
