Default Karmann link

Follow this link to the Karmann annual report...

http://www.karmann.com/__C1256DF7005...KJB_2007_E.pdf

Once you get into there is some interesting stuff. Crossfire production figures are ...2005/ 8329 roadster/ 4126 coupe
2006/ 3258 roadster/ 1547 coupe

These are MUCH lower figures than I had assumed. Another interesting statement regards the "break even point" for engineering/design/vehicle production (like the Crossfire) was 100,000 units or three years. I seriously doubt the Crossfire total production will be much more than half of that, even IF it extends through the 2008 model year. (and I don't think it will...)

Hope the link works for y'all.

Slim

Good info Slim.
Just checked a couple of 2006s for sale and these 2 had the highest VINs I could find, both with 12/05 build dates (see pics):
VIN 66707 (which looks like a new gray to me, but it may just be the pics)

VIN 66296 (Black)

Imagine that? "The Sport Utility Convertible (SUC) took center stage once more as an innovative force."

Beside the above lol, thanks for posting this nice piece of reference material.

VIN 69838 is sitting in my driveway. '06 Black Limited Coupe. I'm sure there are higher VINs out there...

Anybody notice that the Chrysler website is showing '07 Crossfires now? Last I looked (mid June I think) only the '06 was coming up.
