I did have a dime somehow manage to escape and jam itself under the ashtray... but still...such a cool but useless feature.

 

Not useless... a good place to store the cigarette lighter when you have electronics hooked up.

I'm not saying the ashtray is useless... i understand some people smoke in their cars... even though its disgusting!

Did you get the dime out? The ashtray does come completely out. Look in the manual. I have taken mine out in the past. You should be able to get your dime back.

I store my Bluetooth headset in the ashtray. I rarely use the dumb thing anyway. It makes me feel like Lieutenant Uhura when I wear it.

 

Did you get the extended warranty?

Does it cover lost dime retrieval?

 

There might be a .5 cent deductible.

 

I hope they let me pay after the work is done...and loan me a pair of tin snips!

 

yes I was able to save the dime; thanks to a very handy Q-tip.

its just an odd little feature... i have nothing else to post... so I figured i would chime in with that... haha.

also (for those who know about the dime stories) when installing the factory cupholder last night, i found yet another dime. what the hell? haha.

Yet another feature I had not known about this great car. I apparently better start spending more time with my new love to get to know her a bit better.

 

All I know is it's nice to see a chick into cars - especially the Crossfire.

 

Coolest feature... the hood opens 90 degrees.

Most pointless? A steering wheel that comes without any controls (stereo, NAV, cruise, etc).

 

Well, in defense of the poor steering wheel, it does in fact steer the front wheels which allows you to point the car in virtually any direction, potentially taking you anywhere you want to go. Not bad for a simple wheel, huh?

 

AH HAHAHA...who would have thought! All that from a "simple wheel".

 

Simple? Who wants simple at $44K MSRP? Or even $26K for that matter.

BTW, mine, potentially, has rear wheel steering too (with the Traction Control off).
