Few Pics and Vid from Crossfire Meet in Central TX
Thought some of you would enjoy this so I brought it out of the South Forum.
Central Texas Crossfires met up to do a cruise through River Road, Landa Park, Canyon lake, and finally lunch at the Gristmill restaurant in Gruene, TX. We had a total of 9 Crossfires from Start to Finish, although one more met up with us 3/4 of the way through the cruise and had lunch with us. I was unable to capture any video/pics of them so I didn't include them in the credits. They drove a yellow roadster and were from Hunt, TX (west of kerrville).
We really enjoyed it. Here's a quick 2 min video I made with the stills and video clips I took. I have a few good ideas for filming the next one!

Anyone in San Antonio, Austin, or Surrounding areas - get in touch with us! It is a lot of fun to get a big group of XFires together.
We are possibly going to do a Dyno Day soon to have a few XFires dyno'd...
Thanks,
Shawn

The invite was open to everyone for a few weeks. The problem is that we have to 'advertise' in the south forum, which is somewhat out-of-sight. You know what they say, out-of-sight, out-of-mind, right? Well, if you can't see the forum, you don't view it. If you don't view it, you miss the invite.
Now...maybe you saw it and didn't think N.Texas folks were allowed? OF COURSE YOU ARE!
Keep an eye on that Forum. We meet just about 3 times a month, so if you are ever in San Antonio or surrounding areas, let us know!

Lantana,
I've been watching your progress, quite intrigued!
I met you at Bonham Chrysler when your street-rod buddy was looking at an SRT.
Myself, and my co-worker ended up getting SRT's.
Your car is coming along nicely. We'd be glad to have you meet up down here, although it is a bit of a hike from DFW area. We'd REALLY be glad to have ya once you complete that v8 swap!

My street rod buddy went back to Bonham Chrysler with his wife on Labor day because the sales person said they would be open. When he got there they were closed. On the way back they stopped at a Chevy dealer and bought a 2008 Corvette for him. His wife still wants an SRT-6. They are trying to sell one of his street rods and when he does he has promised his wife a Crossfire.
Shawn,
Enjoyed the "Video", it's Great seeing all those different XFs take off one right after the other, a Great show!
Can't wait to see a big group of them at the Dragon in Nov!

The South Forum covers all of Texas. When we have our GTG's all Crossfires are invited. If you live in the central Texas area you are invited to become a member of the Central Texas Crossfires (CTC). The club's goals are to: socialize, show our cars, have fun and most of all, make friends. Our meeting is the second Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
