Unhappy Clutch pedal fell to floor :-(

So I was driving along tonight, took a corner in second went to shift into third gear, car was at about 4500 rpms and as i go to shift my clutch pedal falls to the floor! I pull over and was able to get the pedal back up with my foot. Now the pedal is extremely difficult to push in completely and will only shift through gears with the car off. Did my clutch just come apart? I have 30k miles no signs of slippage at all. any ideas? I had it towed to the stealership, I'm nervous

If you were able to pull the clutch pedal back up and drive, then its the hydraulics, meaning slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder for sure.It is probably leaking!

There were some posts on here a few months ago regarding a clutch shattering. Not sure if it is the same issue, but you might want to search for it.

On the same note, I'd like to adjust my clutch pedal free play. I was not aware that the clutch was hydraulic. Anybody know where the fluid reservoir is? or how to adjust free play on these units?
