Remember that mesh grille from Germany? Seems like they were promising us one for over a year. LOL

Looks great Dude!

Also, if you'd paint the white bracket behind that to black, it would really even out the menacing grill "look".

Congrats.

Yeah trust me I thought that from all the pics I saw as well but in person its totally different looking. The mesh is so heavy I couldn't bend it if I wanted to and it glistens in the sunlight. It seriously looks just like the mesh on the Jaguar XJR my buddy has but his is plastic.

I was a staunch adversary of this grill but in person it looks fantastic. I was at the mall yesterday and parked right by a guy with a Caddilac CTS. His car has the mesh grill and we were commenting on how similar our grills where. Even his surround is as thick as this one. He asked me if this was the performance version of the crossfire because it had the grill. LOL

I said not, I don't have the batwing on back. LOFL

Like others have said, YOU MUST paint that support black. It looks terrible with that showing through . Aside from that little detail, I like it!

I like it!

For me, the ONLY thing I don't like about the look of our car is the front end - head-on, it just looks like a dang mini-van. That grill goes a long way towards "curing" that.

I concur that some flat black paint on EVERYTHING behind it would improve the presentation

I think that grill and a new hood WITHOUT the "strakes" (whatever that means, but keeping the center line ridge), would really divorce our car from that mini-van look. Even that "AMX" hood you guys made fun of looks WAY better to me than the stock one.

I was gonna try my hand at "photoshop"-ing a grill with thin vertical bars, instead of our fat horizontals. I saw a Chrysler 300 with one in that style, looks far better than ours, IMHO.

BTW, how much DOES he get for that grill?

Thumbs up Re: new grille, THANX SRT SIX!!

Looks great, mine should be here today via an ebay purchase. I do think I will flat black everything on the inside though. I have not had my stocker off yet but since that big bracket is white then it will get the Krylon treatment.

As for it looking cheap, no way for who made that comment. The stock grill looks just like a PT Cruiser and a few other Chrysler products. It should have had a Caddy CTS type tp start with or one like the one he installed.

JMHO

Mike

I looked for grills for a couple of years, that is the one area I didn't like on the Crossfire, estpecially after so many Chryslers' grills started looking like them. Finanlly I found the one I liked.

Nice grill,
Have easy fix for gawdugly license plate holes.

Go to Home Depot and pick up a couple white plastic screw caps used to hide screws in melamine, a couple coats of touch up paint, let dry and use hot glue to insert in bumper holes to hold them in place.

Factory look and ugly holes gone for less than bag of Doritos ...Aye caramba..
