Hi People, My first...
.... post and Crossfire!
I just brought home an '04 with 20K on it. Now to learn about it. It needed some Mothers Clay Bar and it will need tires on the rear soon. Before winter I plan on 4 tires. Next on the agenda is an oil/ filter change. Lets hear your advise on brands, filters, grade/ weight.
Thanks and I hope to see you all around. I am in Cincinnati if anyone knows of any events/clubs within a reasonable driving distance.
James

Actually my wife has a birthday coming up very shortly. She would love to have a Crossfire Hat and the dealer no longer offers them. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, James
Nice ride.......welcome to the forum!
To answer a few questions......
Oil: I very much recommend using the Mobil1 0w40......it's stock on these cars and works pretty well.
Filter: Go to a Mercedes Benz dealer and get a filter......the ones you get from Chrysler suck IMO.
Tires: I went with the Goodyear F1 All Season tires. Great grip and a very aggressive tread pattern. I had no problem driving in the Detroit winter snow with them. (WAYYYYYYY better than the stock Continental A/S tires!)
Now on to the good part......Since you're so close, we expect to see you at the Woodward Dream Cruise this year in August. We're over 40 cars strong already I believe.
