Chrysler Extended Warranty
Guys,
I am not sure if this is the right section but I would like to know if any of you purchased the Chrysler extended Warranty plan when you bought your used Crossfire. Do you know the price range? Thanks, FF |
Re: Chrysler Extended Warranty
I don't know about the bumper-to-bumper extended warranty, but it does cost $150 to transfer the 7/70 powertrain warranty for all Chryslers.

Re: Chrysler Extended Warranty
I paid around 1200$ for a bumper to bumper, 3 year , 60000 mile warranty with a 100$ deductible. My car has 8000 miles on it so I think it will do me fine. They also waive the 150 bucks for the 7/70. So after all is said and done I will still have a year left on the powertrain warranty. By then it might have a Hemi in it!

Thanks for the info.
I am just trying to see what kind of price I will be paying and what kind of negotiation I should be doing. Thanks a lot guys |
Re: Chrysler Extended Warranty
Paisano,
Go to the service manager of several dealerships and see who gives you the best price. They typically, unlike salesmen, will sell you the extended warranty without feeding their pockets. I just converted my 3 year lease to a cash buyout and paid $1150 for added care + until 7 years or 70,000 miles. My 2005 Crossfire Limited Roadster presently has 14,000 miles. So, in effect, I extended the warranty by 4 years and 34,000 miles, $100 deductible. Jim |
Re: Chrysler Extended Warranty
I found my best price here. You can choose whatever suits you and see the price before you buy.
