Pardon me if this is already out there somewhere, but I did a search and didn't find a thread.

Chrysler claims to offer Bright Silver as a color option on the '08 XF. Has anyone seen any out there? I don't think this was a color option before and I guess I would be very suprised to see a new color made available this late in the production.

 

I could be mistaken and correct me if I am, but I believe what they are calling "bright silver" in '08 is simply a renamed SSB...they tend to change color names to "spice things up", when in fact it is the same color.

 

Actually I think it is a new color as I saw a light gray coupe today that wasn't SSB or Graphite.

i stand corrected. my apologies. and now, i am also jealous that there is a color that i a) have not seen and b) do not own...hmm i wonder what the production numbers are on this color option seeing as it will only be offered on the crossfire for one year....interesting.

 

Saw one the other day, was a coupe. Looked really nice.

I believe that the silver was available in 2007 also.

 

Looks like they dropped the yellow color for 2008 and added bright silver? I have always thought the yellow color looked sun faded right off the lot anyway. Looks like I will be in the market for an 07 to 08 bright silver coupe next summer!

 

I saw 2 bright silver Crossfires, both roadsters, at the South Park Mall in Strongsville Ohio last week. One was in the parking lot and the other was inside being offered in a drawing. The drawing offered $25,000 cash or the new silver Crossfire roadster. I believe it was just outside the Dillards store.

 

We have a bright Silver on the Chrysler lot here in Great Falls.
Personally doesn't do much for me or the lines in the car's design.

I have seen the bright silver and I don't know why they never came out with it before.

 

I like my 2008 bright silver just fine, at the time I could have gotten the red or the sapphire blue, or oyster gold the best thing I like about my paint choice is the silver painted windshield frame doesn't clash with the silver body color as much as with the other colors. I know why they make those $300 aftermarket chrome windshield frames.
