Red face I'm a little confused... -.-

Hi

Im a little confused with the types of coupe models available... i've been watching some vids on youtube and I keep hearing "limited" and "sat nav" here and there, also when i've seen the topgear review i noticed jeremy clarkson said "0-60 in 7.2 seconds".. i thought it was 6.5?

My question is, are there any models other than the Coupe 3.2 2004-2008, and is sat nav an extra? if so how can i identify this? (I have just paid for my crossfire but I cannot pick it up until next tuesday, so i have pictures only!)

any info muchos appreciated!

nez

You may wanna do a search on Base vs Limited etc, etc. There's been lots of disscussion on this topic. The 04 Coupe is basically a "Limited Model" it has features that where discontinued in the 05 "Base Model" ! (Auto-dimming rear view mirror) for instance. Confusing, yes, but not undiscussed several times over. Search !

and Nav was an option, they didn't come with it. If you want to use an I-Pod with your stock stereo you really should have the Nav unit. That will allow you to hard wire to the unit. The stock stereo has no RCA outs and its not I-Pod compatible unless you use the transmitter type interfaces.

I wouldn't really give them that impression, it definitely is not easy nor really complete hooking up your ipod to the nav unit.

The best 0-60 time I've seen (by a major magazine) for a totally stock 6 speed coupe was 6.4 seconds ... Road & Track ...the Oct. 2003 issue. There's a MotorWeek article on line that claims 6.3 seconds. such tests are subject to: ....the driver, the launch technique, temp., altitude, etc. I think the automatics are just a touch slower??????

All I know is I love this little jewel !!! I'm getting 26 mpg driving like a fool most of the time.
