Question about rental car's.
 

I got my 04 xfire in the shop as of Tuesday. I found out why window wasnt going up or down....body control modual went out...also my car was shiting at high RPM's and i noticed it was leaking a small amout of tranny fluid on teh ground. Come to find out the cup plug seal was out! Well to get to my question....i heard that i should get a rental car for free until it is done. I need a car for the weekend....im 22 and its halloween!!! lol My dad told me that if they have the car for more than a day they HAVE to give me a rental car....is this true? or is my dad and idiot???? lol

Every time I have had mine at the dealer overnight, they have offered a free rental car. This was with my Base Coupe and the SRT6~

It depends. If your car was sold with the "Max Care" they do. I'm not sure anymore what ezactly the name of the program is, but you can call Chrysler Customer Care with your VIN and they will tell you.

As I recall it was not standard, but I've been wrong before. Mine was part of the transferred factory warranty.

A quality shop MAY offer a loaner as a courtisy...unless you have something else in writing.

When my car was in the dealership they told me that I had free rental coverage.. this was news to me as I never paid / knew anything about this.. so it must of been the Crossfire.. this is an 05 limited and it was in the shop around 2 months ago

thankx for the input...but actually i called um friday about a rental car and they told me the part for the tranny came in that morning and it would be done that day! so i got it back up and runnin in the streets of STL!!! lol
