Merry Christmas to y'all!
Has anybody considered having your car done through this organization? Have you had it done? They have lots of pics of cars that have been sponsored and shows, etc. What do you REALLY have to do?

Thanks! Be safe!

Who knows, probably add as much crap as you possibly can to your car. Add spoilers, ugly paint, an ugly interior and a big ugly stereo and you'll probably do fine. Show cars are pointless to me, its dumb to spend thousands of dollars making less functional. I'd rather build a model, its alot cheaper.

I was a member there about two seasons back. and basically here's what happens, you pay a 100 dollar member fee. after that you get:

Unconditional "Quasi sponsor" pricing on alot of items, about 15% off retail, pretty good on stuff like paint etc. stuff you can't find on ebay...but if you can find it on ebay it's usually cheaper.

then there are two types of "real" sponsorships you can do...

Some require about one or two shows a year and a small decal somewhere on your car, that's about a 30% or so usually... but you have to go to at least a few shows first BEFORE you can order.

Then the FULL sponsorships, (the thing most people think they're getting), For example if i remember right for a body kit you had to go to four shows without anything, just to prove you were active, then YOU bought the body kit at half price, then after another two shows they'd pay the half back. and all of this while having a large windshield/backglass sticker.

Rating: 4/10 - Occasionally useful, but I never ended up using any of it. Shipping is listed as 4 - 6 weeks on EVERYTHING. I would not recommend.

Most of the time you can get your own sponsorship without
paying a company to do it for you. Just email the company you
are interested in working with and inquire if they are sponsoring
any cars. They will ask you for pictures of your car, how many
shows you have attended, and where you are planning to
show in the next year. Then be prepared to advertise their product
somewhere on your car and/or distribute their literature at these events.

It's kinda like those companies that want to charge you money to
find you a student loan, when you can find it yourself for free.

+1 for good advice.
