Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
Being 6'1'', and having just the right amount of space to stretch my legs leaves questions about what owners are taller, and how do you adjust?

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
somewhere between 6'2" and 6'3" for me. Closer to 6'2" barefoot.
I have the seat all the way back, very little recline on the seat, and I also have a base crossfire which have just an inch or two more headroom because of the lack of seat heating units. Works great. |
Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6'2" and have no problems at all with leg room or head room in mine.. took a while with playn with the seat though at first to get it adjusted right ...

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6'3"
Can't see traffic lights at all if I am first at the light... |
Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
A friend of mine used to have a SRT-6 and he is 6' 5'' tall!!!

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
It's about more than simply overall height - do you have long legs and a short torso or the other way around? That can make a huge difference. I'm 6'1" but have a 36" inseam. I know guys my height who only have a 32" inseam so obviously we fit differently in the same car. I happen to fit just fine in my Crossfire but I would like a bit more lumbar support. Quite a bit more, actually.

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
I think I have most of you beat as far as who is the tallest. My hubby is 6ft 3 and my son is 6ft 9,Yep 6foot 9 and he does fit in the crossfire. His knees are up to the dash but he does have head room.My hubby Allen fits quite good and has head room.,Yes both have the seats all the way back. And all the way down.Allen(hubby) fit good in the 05 crossfire 6 speed we use to own But my son did have a hard time with 05 driving it.Now we have a 08 automatic because I can no longer drive a stitck due to kneee replacement.

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
I never imagined someone 6'9" would even be able to squeeze their bottom halves in a crossfire lol. That's quite amazing!

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
I'm 5'10" on my tallest day and I have my seat all the way back with very little recline ... I constantly wonder how tall guys do it ...
since I really like sitting well away from the wheel, I'd be quite uncomfortable if I were 6'5" or 6'9" (wow!) ... |
Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6'4 and its all good.

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6'5".......no problem at all.
|
Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6' 3", about 260lbs, 34 inseam. tight fit, but got my seat just right where I want it, no problems.
|
Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6'-5" , not comfortable to me, hard to look through the windshield on a Convertible when sitting upright, shins rub the dash bottom.
|
Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
I'm only 5'8" (tall for a girl, but short compared to 6'4") but I have a 37" inseam. I wear very tall heels (5" +) all the time. It is tough to get my legs in and out sometimes in the heels, but once I am in - no problem. I don't think lower body is really a problem, its how tall you are from the waist up. And, no, it isn't hard to drive in those heels!

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
Well I'd have a tough time driving in those heels...never mind getting to and in the car:D

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6'2" and 250lbs(Sigh), average leg/torso combo. Hard to get in the car in the morning but OK after a day of work. Once I'm in she fits like a glove, and I Like It:D

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
I'm only 6'2" and 250 but I tossed out the stupid dead pedal on my '07 vert and now I have stretch-out room on long trips. This is the first car that I've owned/driven in decades that I can use my right foot to apply the brake. The telescoping steering wheel gives my knees enough clearance to fit underneath comfortably

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6foot 6, shins rub the dash on hard turns and i can't sit up fully straight..... wearing a helmet at the track was interesting..... but i still love the srt6.

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
I'm only 6 feet tall, but kind of long from butt to head (or to put it another way, I have a 32" inseam), so I have to recline the seat a fair amount. That's with my hair still brushing the headliner sometimes. It works fine, but I now have no legroom to spare. I don't see how you stretched fellows have room to make it all work.

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
6' 1/2" and can wear my cowboy hat inside the coupe.

Re: Who's the tallest crossfire owner?
I'm 6'5" (34" inseam) driving a limited roadster. No problems with headroom, except when I'm first at the light with the top up, I need to duck to see the traffic signal. No problem with the top down. Right knee rests against the dash/center console, but I have a few inches of clearance on the left side between the dash and my knee.
I do have the seat reclined forward (upright) more than I am used to so I can move the seat as far back as possible. It's also dang near impossible to pull my wallet out or grab my phone off my belt while driving -- not enough "wiggle" room to get to them without stopping the car. |
