Base Coupe Come With These Extras?
Did the base couple come with the luggage set? Also, how about that pouch on the drivers side of the center console? I don't have either and I bought the car brand new in 2005. I am wondering if I got ripped off from the dealer!
No, the base coupe is just that. The base model. No luggage, no pouch on either side of the console. No leather, no nav, no heated seats, no power seats, no silver window trim, no silver side strakes...need I go on.

I love my Base coupe...no complaints here.
Yea me too. If Chuck or STS can hurry and make us a FI kit for our car then we would be entering a whole new world! I would love to run 330hp like a SRT but much lighter.
I love my base coupe. There is nothing "base" about it. I really didn't want the leather seats or cup holder. I didn't need power seats (another thing to brake) and living in south Texas I definitely don't need heated seats (another thing to break). As a matter of fact, I hate leather seats when it is 105 degrees outside... plus they crack. I also wanted a black car in manual so the base worked out great for me
Who needs the luggage anyway??? I was just asking because I wondered if my dealer held back on me!

The base is nice if you don't care for the added options. It's still a great car. Enjoy it.
Plus, Black Crossfires Rule anyway............

Yeah, I was thinking to turn my Ltd into a Base model, rip out those pockets, replace that cup holder with a bin, paint the windshield surround black, get some standard seats, all that good stuff.
Then I could get rid of that pricey luggage set that is still in the box and sell it on ebay along with all those other parts. Save weight and make money, nothing wrong with that I thought, but I could not do it because I just love that mirror. Don't you wish you had one?

I'm with you guys, I can't stand the silver window frame on the black crossfire and had to have a manual. I waslooking for an early 04 (at least the one I had been looking at didn't have the silver piece) because I like leather and heated seats, but once I found out the base seats offerred more head room I was sold.
Now that I've heard the heated seat horror stories (I still like the cupholder), I couldn't be happier with my decision.
I have seen some alabaster and aero blue models, so in hindsight may have been happy in a non-black xfire, but still love the base model!

Here in Michigan I couldn't imagine my life without those heated seats..
BTW you hear of all the horror stories because how many people who own crossfires actually post of every time they use their "equipment" and it works flawless.. yeah.. not many.. they only post when they have problems.

not having heated seats really isnt that bad since there cloth not leather i dont even notice them being cold im in indianapolis for school right now and it gets kinda cold but no problem with my butt stayin warm.
The only thing i like about the limited (drove one for months before i bought my base) is the sound system But that is a excuse to buy a bigger better one.

nox1s has a point with his remarks, reading the posts can give you the feeling that you have purchased Chrysler's version of the Yugo.
