Warranty Question
I've recently had a couple of things go wrong on my crossfire, most of them seem to already be a tsb. My heated seats arent working, along with my mister, the cup holder wont stay down, and the left turn signal bulb on my dashboard wont light up, oh and of course the latch on the trunk is so bad it sounds like the car is going to fall apart when I go down a bumpy road. Now, Im the second owner of the car, and when I bought it, had the 7/70000 powertrain warranty signed over to me. My question is should this warranty cover these problems or is this going to end up costing me some money? Sorry if this has already been answered I did a search and couldnt find anything.

Re: Warranty Question
That's not the kind of stuff covered by a "powertrain warranty"....more like the 3yr/36K mile bumper to bumper warranty.

Re: Warranty Question
Out of curiosity would you take it to the dealer for these things or just try a local shop?

Re: Warranty Question
I'm no mechanic, but....on the hatch adjustment....use a star tool with your battery powered screwdriver....you can probably adjust that yourself...I've done that. & check the search here re. the seat heater....may just be a fuse needs to be replaced???
The dash light.& the other things...I'd have to take that in to a dealership. |
