Key Fob programming for door locks
Re: Key Fob programming for door locks
PS. I found a little info on the Central Locking Pump. I will look into that.

Re: Key Fob programming for door locks
The locks are are all pneumatic, driven by an air pump in the right rear fender well.
If the console unlock button works, that is, if it unlocks the doors, then the pump is ok. Next question is why the FOB (via the SKREEM) can't command the pump to activate.

I will try and reset/reprogram the FOB to rule that out, but not sure why it would stop working after they stripped and replaced the rear body panels. The center button works and the FOB just flashes the lights, so I replaced the batteries for the sake they were getting low anyway.

If it did not work after they repaired it I would say it is their fault or it was damaged in the accident.

( Same fuse supplies some power for the BCM - Body Control Module. )
Fuse #9 in the underhood accessory block.

Re: Key Fob programming for door locks
I hate to say it but maybe it has something to do with the SKREEM module. Is it possible that there are wires that go from the SKREEM to the Security pump which were not connected again after they worked in the trunk area?

I guess I didn't make myself very clear, did I?
Re: Key Fob programming for door locks
I have looked over what wires I can. I have torn out the back panels everything looks ok. I looked over the CLP and it is fine. Curious what the little box next to it is. I guess I will have to take it to the dealer and let the goons run there hands over it. I just can't find out what is lighting up the fuse. There are three wires running from fuse 9,not including the large hot wire, and the spark is coming from the farthest one towards the passenger side. uggg this sucks running down electrical gremlins.

If the wire that sparks is red/yellow then that wire could go to the tow alarm, a red/yellow goes to the siren as well.
A red/gray wire goes to the BCM, I hope that on is not sparking as the Dealer will retire on the profits from you.
Go to 8W-10-10 in the SRT6 Service Manual.

Older alarms don't beep, new ones do.
The cheaper alternative ( and just as good ) is to hook up the piezoelectric beeper.
