Old news.
"New Xfire will get special wheels , badging, and fixrd rear spoiler." You forgot to add the 7 - 9 Grand larger price tag. Not to mention an insurance premium right up there with the Corvette. That's why I got rid of my Vette. I don't mind paying to play, but I do mind getting ripped off! And that's exactly what insurance companies do to performance car owners. Even using that industries own statistics, performance cars are in much fewer accidents than even a soccer Mom's Mini Van.
I sure as hell hope it is going to be more than $7-9 grand more. I'll be really pissed if they add a grand worth of upgrades to the body (wheels, fixed spoiler, etc) and then only charge $50-70 per hp for the increase (with a factory warrantee)....
Good news for all of us 8) 8) I hate when a car is lowered in performance! This happens a lot for example the Mercedes SLK got a version SLK 200 K this is a 2.0l. Audi TT has the same story, the PT- cruiser had it to, here in Europe available with a  1.6L  engine can you believe that! And yes then the cars sell better and the price drops. And all the people who bought the first models with bigger engines @ higher price are scr*wed because suddenly everyone can buy it and afford the global driving cost. OOOOH I'm glad there will be a 300+ HP engine this will make our cars more expensive. Maybe a bit antisocial thinking of me but to H*ll with that. To be fair I will not buy the 300+HP version, will be to expensive for me, and I donft need a horse more Ifm happy like it is, more than happy, yep verry HAPPY

being that its my dad and all...i would never even think of him doing anything to the crossfire. but i told him today about the supercharged engine that will be out next year. he said he will buy the supercharger and have it installed on his car...i cant wait if he really sticks to his word.
my question is though, do you think that there will be some sort of package where you can purchase the supercharger and its needed accessories, so that it will work on our current NA 3.2L without any custom fabrication?
