Starter/Ignition won't turn with key in it...?
 

Ever since I bought my crossfire, I had to sort of "Jiggle" the key back and forth and turn the steering wheel slightly, left to right.

Well the other day I go to work, well... TRY to get to work.. and the ignition WILL NOT turn.

Any idea how much it is to replace it? I refuse to call my local dealer, I will not do business with them anymore (Several unrelated problems with them.)

I'd like to purchase maybe online, and install myself. Anyone had similar issues?

Common problem... I had it happen around 34K miles.

look for the part online, It is the steering wheel locking mechanisim. You can save a 100 bucks by ordering it online. Part number 68001655AA list 397, net 261. They charger the same price for an ingition cylinder which is under 80 bucks. look for mopar performance parts. good luck I have mine sitting here waiting install.

I'm following those instructions, but I cannot get my ignition to turn from position "0"

How do I get it out now?

I still haven't seen any info when you can't turn the key out of the "0" position...Any help?
