Default Luggage for my Crossfire

Hi,
I am interested in how I can get the standard luggage to me in Schweinfurt, Germany for my U.S. Spec. Crossfire. I have contacted Chrysler but so far no reply. I would be willing to pay any shipping neccessary but if it can be shipped to an APO (Army Post Office) address, it will cost the same as in the States. :?:

I believe the luggage is automatically sent to the address where the vehicle is registered to. It comes via FedEx, not USPS. I can't remember if they deliver to APO addresses.

I've heard that they have been reluctant to ship it to any other address for fear of fraud or some such thing. They've also not entertained orders for extras.

Being that you're in the service, they might make an exception. If you got your car as a US vehicle, I'd call Chrysler directly and speak to customer service.

How long does it take to get the luggage? I read in one post it came in two weeks for someone. Also, is this something your dealer does or is it automatic from DC when you purchase the car??? Three weeks and waiting... ;-)

It is supposed to be automatic, I got mine in about 20 days.

I didn't do anything to get the bags, and they came directly to my home via FedEx, so I'm assuming they used the address when I did the paperwork.

Plenty of holidays during this period so it might take a little longer.

Yes, David wants it shipped to him in Germany. We got a little off-topic.

If he bought the car as a US car because he is in the Army, he should be entitled to the luggage like any other person who purchased it in the US.

As long as the car is titled and purchased in the US either through the RX or other military purchasing service.

If David bought it out of the European stock, then he'd probably not get the luggage.

Default Luggage

Thanks everyone, who replied to my question. I did buy my Crossfire through Auto Exchange which is a sublet of AAFES (Army Airforce Exchange System). I will try to contact Chrysler again but its like pulling teeth to get an answer.

Bought my x-fire on 12/01/03, still haven't got my luggage. My dealer is clueless.
On the bright side, I have smoked two Vettes, a Mustang, and a kid in a new Camaro.

Your dealer has nothing to do with it, call Chrysler's 800 number.

Default Number for Crossfire Luggage

To Everyone Who Needs Crossfire Luggage,
I finally got the number from Chrysler: 866-871-1326.
The assistant e-mailed me and said they don't have an e-mail address or web site and the number you call is always busy but you can leave your e-mail address and VIN number and they should get back with you. I am currently still waiting for an answer but it has only been one day. Anyway, I hope it helps.

David

Just got my luggage yesterday. :-) It took four weeks to the day. I'd give it 4 to 6 weeks before I wasted a bunch of time with a phone stuck in my ear.

BTW... cool luggage!!!
