windshield washer reservoir
When Crossfire owners have routine service (oil and filter) techs often top off other fluids including windshield washer fluid. Techs are used to watching a reservoir to see the blue fluid top out. That can't be done in any Crossfire since the reservoir is hidden under the right front fender. So many techs overfill and fluid runs out on the ground. Techs tell the owner the reservoir must be leaking. Usually the reservoir is in perfect condition. Careful reading the owners manual explains to only top up reservoir when a dash signal shows low fluid. Larry
Mine has a sticker next to the washer reservoir fill point clealy stating this and not to overfill.
It does annoy me when a garage tries to charge for topping up the screenwash. I tell them not to bother filling it as I know its already full.

Eh, they always lie to me about the things they "check" with their free 21 point inspections or whatever you want to call them. They don't check anything.
Last time I took it in (a week or so ago for an oil change), they marked that my oil was in good condition. So was my front differential. I wasn't aware I ever had one. Oddly enough, this "tech" who apparently had worked on XFs before didn't mark anything about my rear differential that does exist.
