Default New guy saying hello

Well just joinded the other day looking for info on the crossfire. To my surprise there was a really loyal following of the crossfires. Looks like everyone is really happy with there purchase. So now I guess its my turn. I live up in Noblesville, IN and I'm off to look at on 04 Limited coupe in the morning. Its a blue grey color, Sorry don't know the name of the color. Anyway it has 51,000 on it. Never sen rain or snow as I have been told by the owner. Price seems good from what I have seen.10,300 is what we settled on.Hope this car holds up to the owners claims. We will see.
This kind of car is a first for me.
A little back ground on me. I own a hot rod shop in Indy. So this will be a big change of pace for me.
Well wish me luck. We will see what happens tomorrow.

Well my new xfire is sitting in the garage. Sapphire blue gray is the color. It was a blast to drive home. even in the rain. Felt bad for the guy who sold it tho. It has never seen rain or snow and you could tell the guy was feeling a little Leary of getting out in the rain for a test drive.Well hope to meet up with some of the other members in my area.
Tim

Comgrats on the purchase. The color is actually Silver Sapphire Blue (SSB). The only 2 blues these cars came in are SSB and Aero Blue. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of your new Crossfire. It sounds like you found one that was well taken care of. Check out The Tail of the Dragon comming up in April for a great way to kick off your Crossfire experience.

Hmmm, sounds like fun. I have riden the tail before several times on a GSXR600. Never really thought about doing it in a car.

Welcome to the Perm-a-Grin Club. You won't be sorry you bought one of these little Gems.
Also, check out the "Official SSB Rules" thread and post a pic of the new baby.

P.S. The Creator also owns a SSB!

Thanks for the welcome guys. I will see if I can get a shot of it over the weekend.
Hey Doc good to know your close. I would love to come see your cars one day.
We about my shop? We have been building cars every since we were kids. Now I do what I love everyday, We mainly focus on 1972 and older cars. We do custom fabrication on everything from race car chassis to one off custom cars. We do everything in house except interior. We have a full service shop as well as an a store front. We represent a little over 500 mfg.
We also have an on line store.
We are one of the nations leading dealers foe custom wheel sales. We are not a huge facility by any means, But we have a killer crew we work with everyday.
you can look us up on the net if you want, I won't add a link as it's more than likely against the rules. We do sponsor several other forums so I'm sure the rules are the same here.
We do alot of late model drivetrain swaps in these old cars. As well as old school builds.
Just look up Paradise Road Rod & Custom
We are not hard to find.
Tim

Hey Doc, yeah I know the place your talking about, I think its called turbo prop? Could be wrong. It's 4/5 blocks from us. We back up to I70. And your right a old Muscle car guy. Not really sure how I landed on the crossfire train. But a pretty kool little car. Wonder what they will be worth in 25 or so years? A collector car? That was my thought. a rear wheel drive low production car.But who knows.
Keep in touch. Tim
