They didn't have the Crossfire last week when I ordered the "Green Stuff" pads. That's why I ordered the MB pads. They are the same. So it all worked out great.

Default dust free brake pads........

i recommend the "Rotex Gold" dust free pads over the EBC green pads.

i have had the rotex pads on the front and rear of my crossfire for 2,700 miles and love them....a true 95% less dust.

personal choice...i don't prefer a green brake pad on my car and poor longevity from what i have been told. with the rotex (stock black pad)...i have no squealing and improved braking...best upgrade hands down to your crossfire.

i tried Axiss pads first....very dusty....returned them.

rotex pads...my personal choice for the above reasons. (m/b slk 320 pads)

I also have improved braking and absolutely no noise at all. As for longevity.... time will tell. But so far I'm about as happy with the EBC pads as I can be.

I haven't used "Rotex" so I can't give an opinion on them.

So far my real life experience is that the Green Stuff pads do an awesome job and are very clean.

How much did you pay for your Rotex pads?

Default cost

around $140 for both the front and rear sets. i usually use hawk hps pads but hawk doesn't produce a pad for this fitment. (past bmw's and wifes X5). now after using the rotex gold pads...i like them better than hawk pads.

oh well...as always a personal choice.

cheers!

Default only if.....

you were trying to warranty rotors or some brake related issue. if this were to be needed...i would just change back to the factory pads...then request warranty items only if brake related. this is another reason i like the rotex dust free pads (resembles stock pads)...the dealer will not even know one replaced the factory pads...ebc greens pads are a dead give away...and they may note your file.

I couldn't care less about any warranty on the original brake pads (I never want to see those nasty things again). Replacing the pads do not invalidate the warranty on any of the other brake components.

Tested the new pads in an autocross yesterday.... They are fantastic!!! much better feel than the factory brakes and the best part of all....... No black brake dust!!! My wheels look just as good after 4 timed runs as they did when I left the house. What a difference.
