Hey all, just bought a Crossfire, figured I'd join up.
 

Hey there everyone! So I just bought a 2004 black Crossfire 6 speed with 61k on the clock for $9,000. I'm typically a Nissan guy, coming from a 300zx and a 240sx that was halfway built for track drifting. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the Crossfire..of the "XF" as it seems people shorthand it. I had the car two days before having to drive from Florida to New Jersey and am in the middle of that trip. Have to say, pretty pleasurable to drive. The car has one tag light out and the speaker behind the driver's seat needs to be replaced, but other than that it's in tip top shape. I was gunning hard to get a G35 after selling my 300zx but somewhat necessity of having a car and somewhat opportunity to own this got me to get this thing - and I'm not sad about it. Seeing as posts are worthless without pictures I'll put one up here.

Welcome to the forum JP, I too was a Z car owner ( in a past life). I had a 79, 280ZX, and a 81,82,83, and a 84, 300ZX. 89 and 90, 240 SX's as well. I enjoyed them all, but not as much as the Crossfire.
I was looking seriously at a G35 coupe before purchasing my new 04 XF, in the spring of 05, and I'm so glad I did. Not that there is anything wrong with the G, it's just that the Crossfire is so much more rare, and seldom seen, that you always feel like you're driving something "special", (which by the way, you are);)

Welcome to the club pal.
And don'tworry about the color thing. These cars are all so cool they more than make up for the fact that the SSB is faster than black ones.:p

Come to St louis in June at the CAA event or make time this fall for the Tail of the Dragon in the Western North Carolina Smokies.
